Year review - please don't?!

2020 was a special year. It was challenging for everyone in one way or another. There are numerous memes circulating on the internet that allude to the fact that annual reviews should be refrained from altogether.

Today, I invite you to give the year a chance to not have completely sucked and give you a few questions for your personal review:

What nice things happened in 2020? What surprised you in a positive way? What touched you? What are you grateful for?

What beneficial activities may have had more space; which energy drainers had less?

What enabled you to overcome the difficulties that came up? Did you perhaps discover new strengths about yourself as a result? Which of your needs or desires did you (re)discover?

What relationships have improved or intensified? Did you perhaps say goodbye to less suitable relationships? Who supported you? Who did you support?

What do you want to leave behind this year? What do you want to take into the new year?

Feel free to take some quiet time to consider these questions, write down some answers, and trace what the memories trigger in your body. Maybe one or the other flashback conjures a smile on your lips, gratitude fills you with comforting warmth or you notice that you want to express that feeling...

Maybe you feel like dancing or singing the year with your kids, sending a postcard with a big THANK YOU to someone, or just realizing that 2020 didn't suck all that much.

I want to thank you for this year together and wish you a wonderful end of the year and a magical 2021!
